What the rules actually say

  • 433 is roughly 40% base index funds, 30% leveraged ETFs, 30% cash. Under 30, or while still saving, it is usually 442.
  • Real equity exposure = 1x + 2x + 3x, so the leveraged sleeve has to be counted, not assumed.
  • Leverage is capped twice: never above the target mix, and never above the cash sleeve.
  • Cash is there so a crash is a buying opportunity, not a forced sale of stocks.

The accounts come before the numbers

Three things have to exist before any of this works: a brokerage account that can hold index ETFs and a leveraged sleeve, a cash sleeve in an account you can reach the same day, and — if you support family elsewhere — a remittance service whose rate you can actually check.

What we use, and what we earn

These are referral links: if you open an account or send money through them, we may be paid a commission by the provider. It never changes your price, and nobody pays to be listed here — we only list services we use ourselves.

We are not a broker, a bank or a licensed adviser. Eligibility, fees, margin rules and tax treatment are yours to verify; this is not investment, tax or legal advice.
